Established in 1982, the ITFS (Internationales Trickfilm-Festival Stuttgart) is a premier international event dedicated to innovative and creative animation by talented German filmmakers.
However, the festival is not limited to animation—short and feature-length filmmakers are also welcome to present their imaginative works. Held annually for a week from late April to early May in Stuttgart, Germany, ITFS provides a free submission platform for animators and filmmakers from around the globe to showcase their creativity.
The festival will host concerts, workshops, and specialized conferences for the audience and enthusiasts, in addition to screening the accepted films.
